This is my first ever review on Yelp and I am happy to share my experience with Wise Builders for our kitchen remodel. Many thanks to Project Manager, Sal and his wonderful team, we now have an upgraded and homey kitchen! We interviewed 3 different contractors before we decided to go with Sal. He is young but very experienced, responsible, and polite. A great guy to work with! The remodel lasted for about 5-6 weeks. All the work was completed professionally by his team. Whenever we had a question or concern, Sal was always ready to help! I would highly recommend Sal and his team at Wise Builders for your home project!

We hired the Wise Builders to remodel our guest bathroom. We looked at a couple of other contractors, but we really liked the value/service we got with the WB. Steve and Charlie, our Project Managers, were absolutely awesome! Right from the start, they were giving us ideas and walked us through the process. They invited us to their showroom and took multiple trips with us to the tile place to pick out tile. They were not pushy at all and were very sincere in wanting us to be happy with our selections (hence the multiple trips). They guided us through the rest of the purchases and gave us feedback on what would work or not and what they needed to install. When they needed a part for the defective faucet we bought (not their fault!), Charlie went all over town looking for the part so we wouldn't have to order online and extend our completion date. Speaking of which, they knew we needed to have the bathroom done in time for a graduation party at the house and they completed the project ahead of time! There were some unknown electrical issues inherent to the house that was uncovered, which delayed us passing initial inspection. Steve and Charlie made sure to bring in an expert to fix what needed to be fixed. Their work crew and foreman were very professional and polite. At the end of the project, they ask you to inspect the work and point out any issues there may be. We found some minor things that we wanted touched up and they acted quickly to correct. They never once made us feel like we were asking too much. Very, very pleasant and professional guys! Couldn't be happier with our choice and our bathroom turned out awesome! We met with Ben from wise builders about 5 months ago. We were interested in updating our entire home. Kitchen, 3 bathrooms, flooring, painting and lighting. From the start we really liked Bens approach with us. He was calm and professional and gave us so many great ideas to make the most of the space we have. We entertained some options with expanding the home but with bens design skills he was able to figure out a way to get the layout we want without enlarging our home which saved us a ton of money! The workers were on time each and every day and worked continuously (where possible with inspections) on our project. The job was done about 2 weeks prior to the estimated project timeline which also blew us away. From rough to finish Ben and wise builders were there each step of the way. I highly recommend to choose wise builders as your contractor. They are already in design phases with my neighbors down the street!

I have a wonderful experience working with Nathan, the project manager, on the 2 month-major renovation project. Wise Builders have comprehensive services on designing, engineering, and decorating. Nathan is very well-organized, polite and knowledgable on the project work, both looks and codes. Be clear on what work are in scope and what are additional scope, which will result in extra charges. The workers nicely complied to rules and regulations of the HOA. There were a proper introduction, design review, and walkthrough on every phrase of the progress, every 1 or 2 weeks on our convenience. The final out come is satisfied as our dream home. After about 6 months of planning & another 5 months of hard work (2000sf addition & full home remodel) Wise builders have finished my beautiful home in beautiful fashion! I originally met with Adam one of their project managers and could not be more thankful to have him quarterbacking our project. My boyfriend and I recently bought our first home in the Bay Area so I reached out out to Wise builders to do an extensive full home remodel of my home. I was deciding between a few companies but after they sent out one of their lead project managers Nathan to give us a scope of our vision vs what was realistic given the state of the old home so we knew we had to go with wise builders

We loved working with Nathan especially because he listened to our expectations and was super personable. They finished the work about a week off scheduled but I was made aware of this city related delay way ahead of time and he was very communicative and flexible with me and my boyfriends schedule.

We have had an excellent experience with wise builders. They remodeled our two bathrooms for us. Nathan Weizmann who was our project manager has a background in interior design. He provided us with an excellent plan for updating and making our bathrooms more functional and aesthetic. Everything from the plans, permits, work schedules, inspections etc. was taken care of by Nathan. We were informed daily about the progress of our project.

I cannot say enough good things about the trades people, plumber, electrician, carpenter, tile installers who worked on the project. they arrived promptly every day at 8:30 am and worked a full work day, sometimes into the early evening six days a week. they are polite, keep you informed as to what they are doing and have pride in their work. no time was wasted.

We now have two beautiful bathrooms that were completed on schedule. I would have Wise Builders back in a heart beat if and when i had another remodel project. On a scale 1 to 10 i would give them a 10 plus rating.

Wise Builders was an excellent partner in my master bathroom remodel, for their knowledge, customer service, and attention to detail. They recommended great suppliers where I could select stylish and high quality fixtures and materials. The construction was timely and efficient, and I am very happy with the results.

My project manager Nestor provided very good advice whenever I needed help with product selection. He had a can-do attitude for things I preferred and communicated well with the crew. The foreman Severo and the crew were extremely hardworking and dedicated to providing quality service. My project was pretty extensive - a complete redo of the bathroom that extended into the rest of the master suite, as well as the dining room area below - and Wise completely everything in a timely and skillful manner. After moving back into our home (which had been a rental for 10+ years) we decided we had no choice but to remodel two leaky bathrooms down to the studs and also our 1/2 bath. We looked for experience, a good plan, the promise of communication, and a fair price. And some hand-holding, because we would be living at home during construction.

Nathan from Wise Builders is amazing, if you are lucky enough to get him as your project manager. Wise has a unique way of working--there were no surprises, they finished when they said they would, and for the price quoted. We were very pleased when Nathan said that if we went with Wise, he would become our advocate and he would be our liaison with the crew. He really was--whenever there was a question, a text or call got a quick answer.

We described what we wanted, and Nathan explained what they could do to make it happen, what was possible vs what would cost more than we wanted to spend. We loved the concept of going to showrooms to pick out absolutely everything from the tile to the shower drain. Nathan helped us place the orders, checked on delivery dates and crew progress at every step, kept us in the loop, and made sure we were always satisfied.

The crew is considerate and pleasant, they cleaned up afterwards each day, and most of all, they do beautiful work. Our three new bathrooms are just what we wanted!

Remodeling a home can be a really daunting task; even a relatively new home. Which is why I lost a few night's sleep in anticipation of remodeling our Kitchen and 3 Bathrooms (Guest, Jack & Jack, and Master) last May when we started on this journey. But that was then... and this is now. After around 4 months of designs & demolitions, purchasing & planning, coordinating, construction & completions... we unveiled and are now enjoying a masterpiece!

And Wise Builders, led by Adam Strikowski and crews helped orchestrate the whole beautiful symphony of form, function and perfection. My Love and I wrote the sheet music... but Wise Builders performed it beautifully!

The first phase of remodeling was envisioned and completed two years ago... to great success. The home has been completely re-formatted from a dull 1990s (white woods and marble) look. The first phase was done to great success.

Then the challenge... we needed to finish the rest. And it needed to be as good as the first phase. And that proof has been the applause we've received from friends and family who have seen the final results... Even every contractor who participated along the way.

I bought this home 4 years ago, after I just saw the backyard alone. Seriously. The previous owners put a veritable fortune in time and money to the outside of this home. And as the inside had the required amount of rooms and space, I told my realtor on the spot, "I want this." I was serious. It's not that there was anything wrong with the inside of the home -- but it was SO 1996. It needed a facelift.

Two years ago, we upped the "wow factor" several degrees, when we ripped up all the flooring, main stairway, rails, and banisters, several fixtures, complete interior paint job... and replaced it all with amazing wood floors, a Porcelanosa kitchen floor, and incredibly artistic fixtures. We were halfway home. Our style is Restoration Hardware meets Transitional meets Industrial. Truly a CLASSIC look that never gets old.

We met with a couple other general contractors, but no one seemed to really "get it". They were run-of-the-mill (yawwn), typical, local journeymen. Nothing wrong with that. They may have done an adequate job. But we were looking for more than just functional. We wanted Function AND Form.

That's where Wise Builders fit in.

Already feeling a little let-down by the visits from other contractors, who seemed confident enough to handle a set of tools, an associate recommended one more group she just had a great experience with. So we figured, why not.

Enter Adam Strikowski and Wise Builders. We met Adam one evening at our home around dinner time. Unlike every other technician or craftsman you meet today, Adam entered our home with a clean uniform (OK, it was a clean, company polo shirt with logo; and a matching hat) and an equally sunshiny personality. But the real kind of sunshine and confidence... not the used car salesman type.

We sat at the kitchen table and Adam actively listened to our vision for a full 10 minutes, before he chimed in. He showed genuine interest in what we had to say; and then replied in kind with great suggestions, professional, AND creative responses. It was like meeting with a Designer, Architect, Builder, AND Shopper all rolled into one personality! And we had that VERY same hybrid personality throughout the ENTIRE remodel process.

By the end of the conversation (about an hour), we were so excited and comfortable with Adam, we invited him to join us for dinner. And he did! Before the work was complete months later, we were referring to Adam as family. And each individual we worked with from Wise Builders was just as trustworthy and loyal, so much so, that even during the most stressful parts of demolition and construction -- we fully entrusted our home to them.

I'm not saying it was easy. Remodeling a kitchen and 3 bathrooms is a pretty big task. A pretty big mess sometimes. But that's why you DO go with a more professional company, and qualified individuals.

I'm not going to get too specific about the economics of the job. It's my HOME. If I was looking for the cheapest route, I would have hired a couple journeymen and made the mistake of trying to act as General Contractor myself. But, if you personally need surgery... do you just look for the cheapest way to get the job done!? So, WHY would you ever do that to the closest extension of yourself... your Home!? I didn't need to compare dollars. I was looking for efficiency, style, professional, turn-key performance!

Wise Builders accomplished that. And Adam accompanied us and this remodel EVERY STEP of the way. He SHOPPED with us for EVERY detail... from faucets to fixtures to paint colors, cabinets and tiles. We received discounts at quality vendors... but more importantly, we secured quality, beautiful products. We staged, demo'd and constructed for 4 months.

The work was completed without delay and within budget. And the final product was/is a Masterpiece!!

These guys really went above and beyond for us. My wife and I just finished a small 40 sq ft addition, covered porch and complete kitchen remodel. We had originally told them we didn't need the porch tiled, then changed our minds. They said no problem and sent someone who spent a couple days laying tile at no extra charge. We had them change wiring a few times, add some lights that weren't part of the original plan, etc. Our project manager, Sal, was with us every step of the way - he'd respond to every request within a few minutes and always took care of everything we needed. We're considering a bedroom addition a little later on and will definitely go with wise builders again.

Great company, competitive pricing and such a wonderful crew to work with. From the initial appointment where our project manager Nestor Cabrera came out, inspected out our project and gave us a very competitive price and thorough scope of work. We got our kitchen remodel, removed 1 load bearing wall between kitchen and dining room plus new hardwood flooring all throughout the house. The project went by very smoothly, done in a timely manner and with very little complications. I would definitely recommend Wise builders!

These guys do great work!! I want to thank every single crew member that stepped foot in my familys house to take on this project! We chose wise builders for the entire design and build of our 1400 SF home. We started the planning phase with them for our 1500 SF first and second story addition / full home Reno. Adam & Nathan were assigned to the project and were my star quarterbacks from start to finish! They have created such an easy going system for construction that was so impressive I didn't even feel like we were pretty much tearing down our entire house! The team was on site every day minus of course the inspections but that's understandable. Adam or Nathan was present every day on site and kept me & my wife posted during every milestone which was always exciting. The most important thing I wanted to leave off with was the level of finished work they do. It was worth every penny! Wise builders you are highly recommended in my book!

Just moved to San Mateo with my wife and bought my first home. Before moving in fully I called Wise Builders as well as a few other contractors to estimate how much it would cost to add square footage to our new master bedroom/bathroom and remodel the entire home to get that modern look I was going for. Adam, one of their project managers, was the only person I felt comfortable with to take on the biggest project I have ever had to go through. I was worried from the beginning hearing from friends horrible stories of what they went through with some companies but Adam was a true master at what he does and insured me that everything would be taken care of and most importantly I work 10-12 hours a day at least with no time at all to manage any of this. Adam and one of his field supervisors Charlie were so responsive from the material shopping to the final inspection of the project. No delays at all throughout the project and I thank Adam and the Wise team for always being a step ahead of the game. I chose this company to manage my complete home remodel (A few wall removals, 4 bathrooms, our kitchen, flooring & a complete interior/exterior paint) Adam their project manager was a perfect match for us and are so happy we have got to work with such a knowledgeable project manager. We shared the same design vision which was very refreshing because it took us 6 different meetings to finally chose someone we can trust to take on our project. From day one Adam explained the entire scope of work and schedule so we we're always in the loop. He gave us a timeline of 2.5-3 months and they finished everything including touch ups at week 11!! We recently had wise builders remodel a bathroom for us . One thing i can say about this company is that they are very on top and detailed as can be . Funny sometimes that reminds me of my own self . Our project manager sal was in touch with us every day. We met a couple of times at the tile store chose all of our materials before wise builders started doing the work . Amazing crew always working hard and clean and very respectful of our home . We will definitely continue on using these guys for our next project next year that will be a kitchen and replacement of our existing windows throughout our home. The quality of the work was top-notch, and they did a great job of communicating each step of the way. We had a few hiccups getting everything finished dealing with the city, but Nathan and his crew dealt with it very professionally.

We used them for the entire process (from design to buying material to the actual construction), and we were happy with the entire process. My wife and I are pretty opinionated when it comes to style and how we want things to look and be laid out. Nathan understood what we wanted, and was able to make it happen! Then, Jesus was great to work with, being incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the entire process - even lending me his saw when I needed it for an unrelated project around the house.

Finally getting a chance to write this recommendation! Since the moment I met Nathan (wise builders project manager) I knew this was the right fit for me. His knowledge and expertise differentiates him from all the other contractors I have met. He is HONEST. Which is a tough characteristic to find in the grueling construction industry. We met with 6 different companies so we did our home work. Wise builders is by far the most professional and organized company. They are a bit on the pricier side but that just goes to show that "you get what you pay for".

Crew was courteous and VERY professional. Each crew member/tradesmen involved in my full home renovation project was highly skilled. The devil is in the details with these guys and it shows positive. The full-home renovation mentioned in my 1-25-18 Yelp review of Wise Builders is finished and yes, the report is good! Everything was done as described in our first meetings with Nathan, the project manager.
Contact with Nathan was easy and reliable. My text messages received an immediate reply during business hours, and when inspiration or anxiety struck on a weekend, the resulting email was answered promptly Monday morning. Nathan also called with regular updates on Monday mornings and as needed, since we were living off-site during demolition and construction.
In an industry notorious for running months behind projected completion dates, our demo/construction was started as scheduled 5/1/18 and finished within the 3-4 month estimate, with final walkthrough 8/9/18. Nathan gives credit for that, along with the quality of work, to the foreman, Ervin, and his crew. Whenever my husband dropped by tending his garden, he witnessed a focused and hardworking crew, often finding Ervin and others putting in weekend hours to keep the project on schedule despite delays and added work after the initial time estimate had been made.
It appears Wise Builders is run by people that value their reputation for high quality, and everyone in the company invests to maintain it. I saw it reflected in the polite and professional interactions, the organization and preparation, and in the end product, seen in the details achieved by using the best craftsmen in their field, along with a skilled crew. I saw it when they provided more than was required or expected because it would make something function better or be safer. I've seen it too in their willingness to address concerns or fix problems, even after the remodel project is done. Nathan told us to keep a list of any touchup or adjustment needs noticed in the first month living in our remodeled house, then they would return to fix everything on the list. When I contacted Nathan about a plumbing problem that I didn't think could wait a month to be checked, Ervin came out promptly to diagnose and fix it. An unchanging commitment to retaining high-quality employees and maintaining high-quality service and workmanship assures that I and other clients will continue to recommend Wise Builders to others and return to them for any future building needs.

It was extensive- a kitchen remodeled and expanded, with walls removed and floors raised in two rooms to allow for the expansion and a more open flow to adjoining areas, two remodeled bathrooms including an expanded and reconfigured one in the master bedroom where a walk-in closet was also added, new windows and flooring throughout, along with painting and changes to plumbing, electrical, and foundation work!

We just finished our whole house remodeling. It is a 2580 sq feet house in San Jose. Here is the list that Wisebuilder has done within three months:
1. converted a upstairs bedroom 2/3 into a full bathroom, and 1/3 combined with Master room closet to be a walk-in closet.
2. knocked down the wall in between kitchen and dinning.
3. The whole house is repainted inside out with the selected color we chose.
4. carpet the 2nd floor, and hardwood the first floor.
5. Remodeled three bathrooms, remodeled our kitchen, and changed the bathroom window to tempered frost window,
6. add classic molding throughout the door and windows.
7. Update a the office window to bay window, and reframed the area under stairs into part of the room.
8. Updated the whole house water pipes into coper.
9. refurnished garage into a living condition, and
10. add insulation to the attic.

The job started at end of June, and finished around Oct 20th.

Nestor is the account Contractor. They have a subcontracting team full of skillful people each specialty on certain items. We closely monitored the process, and communicate with Nestor and the whole crew almost everyday. The remolding work is very challenging. Nestor and the team achieved our goal without increase too much on budget. They also reinforced our foundation of family room and kitchen for only a few thousand extra. After we finished the project, our neighbors came over and two of them immediately signed contacts with him. He delivered us a dreamed house within 3 months. I really thankful for his patience, and understanding throughout the project. He introduced us the cabinets vendor, tile vendor, and advised me on my shopping list, save us a lot, but not sacrifice any quality. After all this hard process, we finally moved in. The 50 year old house now looks like "brand new". All our neighbors gave us compliment. They said "the construction team works hard everyday, and your house now is so beautiful like a house from fair-tale book".

I highly recommend Wisebuilder. The team will deliver what you design. I don't want others to design it for me. I don't like gray only on my wall. I chose what I like, Nestor confirm what he and his team can build, then together we have the great job done.

We yelled at him, and scolded him during the project when things goes wrong, and have to extend schedule, but all the time, this young guy stays calm, and friendly. We're in the beginning stages of a major bathroom remodel project: master, guest plus adding a new bathroom. Nestor C. is our project manager and he has a warm, friendly manner. He offers expert guidance to high quality places to order everything from tile/stone to fixtures. In fact, he came with us to several stores/showrooms so we could have advice on materials, costs, and the pros/cons of various options. Nestor has provided all the various professionals for the project, including a designer, foreman, electricians, and plumbers. Everyone has been knowledgeable and friendly. This past summer we decided to get a home loan and remodel our master bath. We interviewed a few different companies.
Nathan made the best impression on us. His price was in the middle of the pack and they seemed very competent. Nathan ended up working directly with us through the whole project. He has been a pleasure to work with. Always responsive and ready to fix anything that bothered us. The workers he brought in have been top notch, always checking with us before making any decisions and giving us good advice when we asked for it. Nathan was very patient with us at the start of the project as we went through a number of re-plans until we had what wanted. He walked us through every step with the purchasing of the tiles & fixtures as well and went as far as to bring us samples to our home. Even after final payment was made Nathan made sure that other small finishing touches we were adding on the side, like glass shelves from a glass company, got installed the way we wanted and in a timely manner. We were looking to remodel our small bathroom remodel and looked at a couple of other builders as well as Wise Builders. We have a small home with three kids and needed to update the bathroom badly. Sal came out from Wise to give us an estimate which was a fair estimate.
Once we chose Wise Builders, Sal was our project manager and was great. He was there helping us for each step from start to finish. They didn't go much over the estimate and the contractor that was used was great. They kept the space clean and completely cleaned up daily. Sal checked in every day and the contractors were at our house every day including weekends in an effort to get the job finished a little earlier than what they initially said. The contractor knew he had a couple of jobs coming up and how busy our house is with the kids and the dogs.
Wise Builders communicated very well and answered all of my questions from start to finish. They made the whole process very easy. We will be using them again for our master bathroom and our kitchen. Thank you Wise Builders!

We learned of Wise Builders from our neighbor down the street who had their kitchen and bathrooms done through Wise Builders. They spoke highly of the company and the results of their remodeling took the word impressive to new heights.

We contacted Wise Builders as we needed to have our kitchen redone after a water leak caused some major havoc. We spoke and met with Nathan Weizmann who came out to our house and did a thorough review of our requirements. After a question and answer exchange, we agreed that this was the company we wanted to do our kitchen redo. We have worked with contractors in the past and Wise Builders ranks up with the best of the best. Their attention to customer service and project detail is excellent and if I say anymore, people will think I'm a paid employee disguised as a customer. Bottom line, we recommend them without question, hesitation, or doubt. As a matter of fact, we did recommend them to some friends of ours and their project using Wise Builders is now underway.

Similar to other reviews here, we interviewed multiple contractors and found Wise Builders on Yelp. I have been nothing but satisfied with the entire process from beginning to end (not yet finished yet). Our Project Manager is Nathan and he has been very helpful with every aspect of this project. We remodeled our kitchen and bathroom and his assistance with the design portion was invaluable. The workers at our home are very pleasant and amicable. My husband and I decided to remodel the interior of our newly purchased home in Los Altos and also add a playroom/den before moving in. We met with Adam who we immediately clicked with, his knowledge and personality definitely won us over!

Adam was very specific with the scope of work, project timeline the requirements we would have to adhere to so that the city would allow us to add a playroom/den for our kids and guest. Gutted my entire 1st floor of my home. Consisted of kitchen, full bath, half bath, flooring, trims, New texture, 2 wall openings and new large format bifold glass doors.

The project manager I was provided with was terrific. We had a great connection and actually listened to my wants and needs. The crew EVEN BETTER. I emphasize on this because I know (through past experiences) that it's the most important to have craftsmen doing the work. Very pleased with the entire project. Started on time and finished about 4 days before the estimated project finish date. They even brought a cleaning crew to clean the construction area and also the 2nd floor! Owner came by himself a couple of times to check on the job which solidified this company. They are really on top of it! Great job :-)

I cannot say enough good things about Wise Builders. When I contacted them, they were friendly and promptly set up an appointment. Communication with them was excellent, both on the phone and by text. Things got even better the next day when I met Sal, the project manager. Right from the beginning he was enthusiastic about my project, easy to work with, and full of helpful ideas. He listened carefully, had an estimate prepared the same day, went shopping with me, eased me through the difficulty of making decisions, and got the actual labor started within the next few days. I contacted multiple contractors to come out and provide me a estimate for an extensive full home remodel. I didn't want to just hire any company. I wanted to make sure I was getting the right people that care just as much as I do about my home.

Wise builders sent out Nathan, their lead project manager. They offered the complete package that I was looking for. Super detailed and get down to every little question/concern I had. They also do design and build and Nathan really understood my taste in finishes. His work ethic was fantastic!

Project start happened on time as promised. The workers arrived on time everyday and finished up at reasonable time around 4:30-5:00 pm. On days of certain trades Nathan made sure to update me on changes in schedule and little hiccups along the way. I have went through remodeling before and it was stressful. With all these constant updates and solutions it made the process very easy and headache free.

In conclusion, I would highly recommend Nathan and wise builders. They don't take any shortcuts and if anything is not done right they take care of it right away. For example there was some paint touch ups I wanted to bring up to Nathan in my kitchen and bathroom. He beat me to it! This is how I felt throughout the entire job.

We are near the final stages of our remodel and are very happy with the results thus far. Will make an update to the review once we are fully completed, but here is my experience to date:

We initially contacted Wise Builders to get a bid on a full gut and upgrade to our 3 bathrooms, entry way, laundry room, wet bar, recessed lighting throughout and few other smaller projects. An appt was set up very promptly and we met with Adam the project manager to go over the details. Out of the 3 other contractors we talked to we felt the most comfortable with Adam and his work ethic/ style and overall Wise Builder brand. Adam even went so far as to bring in his structural engineer to evaluate a wall we wanted to take down before even making a bid knowing that we could have easily gone with someone else.

After deciding to move forward with Adam and his team, he was very responsive and proactive in his communication and project plan. He helped us with design choices and came with us to pick materials as well as suggest layouts for our fully gutted bathrooms. Even when he was on vacation half way around the world he called me to make sure things were good and that we were moving along as scheduled. That's what I call dedication to his work.

As work commenced, Jesus R was our foreman and led a team of dedicated guys from demo to rough ins to finishes. I can't say enough about these guys and their hard work to get things done. They work diligently and stay late to finish things up as needed. I still remember the tiling guy Manny staying well past 8pm to finish up tiling of one of our showers. As with any remodeling project we're bound to run into some hiccups but Adam and Wise Builders have minimized much of it and kept things relatively smooth. In fact, if all ends well we plan to contact Adam for our kitchen gut and build in the future. These projects can be quite invasive and daunting but having Wise with you can alleviate much of this. Wise Builders was recommended to us by friends whose neighbor had a kitchen remodeled with Nathan as project manager. I called Nathan and he came to our home to discuss a kitchen remodel the next day. We had some general ideas about what we wanted to do and Nathan gave suggestions. He had us pick out our new appliances first so we would have a better idea for colors in the kitchen. Next Nathan brought in a cabinet designer who did a brilliant job with the drawings for our new kitchen. All my requests were incorporated into the design.

Then I mentioned to him that I also needed to remodel bathrooms so we expanded the scope of the project to include three bathrooms and a walk-in closet. He brought in an architect since our ideas required moving walls. The architect came up with some great ideas and we had the opportunity to review the plans. A few days later Nathan returned with updated plans for our approval. These plans will be presented to the city for approval. All work will be done according to city codes.

Nathan answered our questions and addressed our concerns. At one point, I changed my mind about a couple changes we discussed and Nathan said no problem, he wanted us to be happy.

The estimate for our kitchen, three bathroom and walk-in closet remodel is due to start Oct 1 and should take 3 - 3.5 months. We do have to move out of the house during construction, but we will be close by to watch the progress.

I found Wise Builders on Yelp when my mother in laws house needed a quick remodel of her bathroom due to water damage. She is 93, and I am a designer in Oregon, so working remotely with a team that would work with me at a distance was of utmost importance. Adam and his team went above what I expected. Communication was clear and daily, even FaceTiming.
Adam suggested material sources in the area that I would have otherwise not known about. Adam also has a really good design sense which I trusted. My mother in law being elderly needed some other little things done, for instance a problem with the dishwasher, one of the fellows on the job fixed it for her. The team was thoughtful of her needs and did everything they could to get the job done in a timely manner. They were very clean, protecting the master bedroom from as much of the work in the master bath that they could. Putting up tarps and floor protection. I could go on, but it is clear that they are the BEST!

Wise Builders just finished a full renovation of my kitchen and master bathroom. My husband and I could not be happier with the finished work. Not only was the work great and completed within the timeframe that our Project Manager, Nathan had given us, but their attention to detail is awesome! I have been working with 3 of there project mangers Adam, Nester and Sal and also the owner Nathon pretty much on a daily bases. I have been in the Hvac business for over 20 years now Ive worked with plenty of contractors over the years. So I pretty much see the work from start to finish. I just wanted to say how amazed I am In there quality of work and craftsmanship. If your looking for a contractor that will exceed your expectations on your home remodel. We were looking to do a kitchen remodel, which included knocking down two walls and relocating the kitchen from the middle of the house to the corner. We interviewed and got bids from five contractors and ultimately chose Wise because they had competitive pricing and Adam went the extra mile to really help guide us through an overwhelming process. They estimated the job to take eight weeks, and that's what they did (except small minor touch ups, which is expected). We cannot say enough good things about Adam, our project manager. He took the time to take us to various suppliers and even helped us negotiate the best pricing. It was so easy. Once we chose and paid for our finishes, he did the rest. He took care of the permits too. Especially for first timers, it was a great experience. And the finished work was great. If you have a sizable job, I'd highly recommend Wise.

Wise Builders just finished our hall bathroom remodel and we are very pleased with the outcome. The vanity and plumbing recommendations were spot on and the customer service was outstanding. Sal was in communication daily, often sending pictures as progress was made during the day. The project passed every inspection and was completed on time. We will definitely hire Wise Builders when it comes time for our kitchen remodel.

Just following up our previous post...We moved back into our newly remodeled home about three weeks earlier than planned at the beginning of the project. We love how things turned out and would whole-heartedly recommend Wise Builders for your home remodel. Nathan was a great project manager who kept us informed through the whole process. Our crew lead Alfredo worked hard right up to the end to deal with last minute inspection surprises, touch ups, and details that all add up to a top quality result. We look forward to enjoying our (essentially) new home for years to come!

We just bought a 50 years old two-storied house, which definitely needs some work to make it desirable to live with modern touch. I called 4 remodeling-contractor companies. Wise Builder was the first one called me back, and immediately assigned me a project manager to the house for an estimate.

Nestor Cabrera showed up at the door punctually for the appointment. Although we had no promise to any engagement of the project, he spent about 2 hours listening to our desires and explained possible alternatives by considering our finance and time limits. He checked the house condition, and told us his ballpark estimate almost right away. It was a bit over what we thought.

Nestor showed us two other projects that he is working on as references. I am very impressed by the quality of the work and the duration. He also visited us personally Thursday night to go through all details again for over 2 to 3 hours before we signed the contract of architecture for $6,800.

So far, we consider the contract signing and estimate is a good start.

Wise builder responded our request timely and sincerely. As the project manager, Nestor is very comfortable to communicate, and he matches his team schedule with our schedule to address our concern.

Nathan truly listened to my desires and made sure to explain all possible options and limitations that could lie ahead. He seems to be trustworthy, courteous and hardworking. While they were not the cheapest pricewise, the cost may of been worth it in the end.

From start to finish, our entire experience with Wise builders epitomized the highest level of professionalism, customer service, and commitment to quality. We worked with Nestor Cabrera to remodel both of our bathrooms. We interviewed about six different design build firms, and Nestor's presentation stood out us from the beginning. He was the only one to show us his complete credentials, paired with a long slideshow of before and after projects he had completed. The quote we received from him was the most detailed, and yet was not the most expensive. Nestor was on site almost every day of the project, and he was always available via text or voice mail. The level of quality was so clear throughout the project. At one point, the tile installer felt that the quality was not up to his usual standard, so he ripped out almost 6 hours of work and started over. We were not charged for the delay, and the project was still completed on time and on budget. About halfway through the project, the owner of the company flew up to the Bay Area to check out all the local projects. After feeling very unsatisfied by our kitchen remodel with a different company, I was so happy to find this level of workmanship in an affordable company. My husband and I were incredibly impressed by Wise Builders' accountability and willingness to go the extra mile for its customers. We will definitely be using Wise Builders and Nestor Cabrera for future projects. They are the best of the best.

My girlfriend and I are nearing the end of our remodel and we just wanted to give a quick review of our experience with Wise Builders. They set themselves apart from the very beginning when Nathan and Sal came by for the initial consultation. They were very professional, showing up on time on a weekend, and provided a very impressive presentation. They listened to our needs and even talked us out of doing an expansion to the footprint of the house that would have added tens of thousands of dollars to cost of the project. Instead, their design team came up with a design for a fantastic new, much larger kitchen and three new bathrooms within the existing footprint of the house. Our 1960s era home has been completely transformed!

Our foreman Fernando and crew lead Alfredo have been great to work with and have done exceptional quality work at an amazing pace.
Be warned that once the process begins it is a wild ride with many decisions that must be made in succession. Thankfully I have a flexible work situation and can be available to meet with Nathan, coordinate other work related to the remodel, make online orders and trips to the hardware store for fixtures, etc. Nathan has been great working with us and keeping us informed what the next steps in the process are. It looks like Wise will be finishing the project 2-3 weeks earlier than originally planned with very few surprises along the way.

I have extensive experience with construction, having worked on my own house on weekends for decades, and having performed as a general contractor on my own addition/remodel in Los Angeles in 1992. For my own hands-on work, I have done plumbing, rough framing, subfloor, drywall, HVAC, and roofing.

For this remodel I wanted to outsource the whole project, but needed a general contractor that could work with my wife and I, so that we got exactly what we wanted. After extensive reading of reviews on Yelp, I chose Wise Builders. My wife and I have been extremely happy with that choice.

If you read other reviews about Wise Builders, about the only valid criticism of them is their bids for labor and unfinished materials on are the high side. While this is true, I think if you factor in the total cost of project completion, they are actually quite competitive and probably save the homeowner money; and you get a very high quality product.

There are four reasons for this: First, they design for economy and project efficiency. I'll go into detail about this later on. Second, they do not buy finished materials, so there is no markup on what is usually the most expensive items and the items that other contractors markup the most. Third, since they are not marking up materials, they don't push more expensive finish materials, which again is where homeowners often break their budgets. And fourth, they are extremely efficient and well run. I often drop by to see how the project is going and have been uniformly impressed by the character and teamwork of the workers on site. Not just the owners, but the foreman, craftsmen, and laborers have a high degree of pride of work.

Our experience with Wise Builders began with meeting Nathan at our home to discuss the scope of our project. From the start, he was considerate and respectful of both our desires for the project and how it would affect us. To my first point above about value, Nathan took in all our requirements and worked through several iterations of floor plans to address all our requirements, but with the minimal amount of addition, since that can be the most expensive part of an addition/remodel.

After arriving at a final design, Nathan quickly orchestrated a complete set of drawings and approval by the city. We moved out and work began immediately. We needed to excavate for a new foundation and Nathan worked with the foreman to make sure this was done with a minimum about of damage to our recently re-landscaped yard. Work has proceeded faster than we expected at every stage. My wife and I drop by at least once per week, often meeting with Nathan or his foreman to discuss details. This feeling of being part of the team was extremely important to both my wife and I. For my wife, to make sure she got exactly what she wanted. And to me, since I have extensive construction experience, I wanted to make sure the work was being done "right".

One thing to mention is that because Wise Builders does not buy finished materials, the homeowner should be prepared for the time investment this requires. Nathan, however, had an extensive list of suppliers that he has worked with in the past. We found each of them to be extremely knowledgeable in their area and very helpful. In addition, on most our trips to showrooms, Nathan would be there to assist. Even though I have bought most construction materials in bulk in the past, I was very grateful to have Nathan there. The depth of his knowledge helped steer us away from materials and products that would have led to problems or slowdowns on the job site.

We are now entering the final phases of construction and are getting very excited about our addition/remodel. As he has done throughout the project, Nathan has communicated with us very proactively, often texting and emailing photos. As I stated above, my wife and I feel very much included in the project.

After interviewing many contractors I decided to use wise builders to renovate my kitchen. Sal, the project manager was straight forward and gave us way more info than anybody else we met before . He managed his crew and was on top of them since the day of the demo until the next time we were able to use our kitchen again!
He helped us choose all the finish materials from the countertops to the cabinets. Always gave us his honest opinion and the result of the project is amazing.

From start to finish these guys were great! I selected wise builders because of the amazing reviews I saw online and the great free estimate which was super detailed, much more clear then any other estimates I received. We scheduled a contract review and signing then shopping for finish materials. All their project managers have Interior design backgrounds so shopping was a breeze. I got to select my materials and know exactly what I was paying for (I also got some great discounts due to wise builders large account).

We completed the shopping phase and the city permit was pulled accordingly so we started on time. The crew came in to my home and there first question to me as they entered was "can you please walkthrough with us to show you where we will cover with plastic tape and floor cover and if you have any special request?" I knew immediately I made the right decision. Very respectful staff and crew along with a project manager that always gave me weekly updates and made me aware of any changes that will influence the finishes. The project had all the inspections completed the 1st TIME. Tile layouts were discussed prior to installation and we did a complete final walkthrough to take care of any touch ups. They even were nice enough to paint the complete bedroom adjacent to my bathroom where we remodeled because they made a small hole on the other side (accidentally) which they patched, but came home one day and noticed they just painted the whole bedroom for me. Just so I would be extra happy. I see mixed reviews about this company but you should really read through the bad ones and see the company responses. I had such a positive experience with them. Will be using them for sure again!

Recently remodeled our bathroom to install a curveless shower for my husband who is disabled but didn't want it to look "institutional". Adam and his crew--Jesus, Miguel, Edgar and the rest of the workers were phenomenal--very professional, listened to my ideas and gave me good advice. Adam, the project manager, was so helpful in helping me choose the fixtures, tile, and closely supervising the work. In addition the work was done on a timely manner--the bathroom was up and functional by the deadline. Would highly recommend this company. Today we met again with Nathan, a Project Manager for Wise Builders, this time to sign a contract to use them for our full-home renovation. Several details of the meeting confirmed that we have chosen the right company and project manager for this job. Nathan first reviewed the scope of the job, walking through our house with us again, asking questions, listening to our ideas and preferences, and suggesting a few options to address functional problems that concerned us. Following that, he thoroughly prepared us for what to expect. He first covered cost estimates, breaking it down in detail, then moved on to a description of the phases of the project; the approximate timeline, what would occur in that phase, and who would be working with us.
This company is very well-organized. Charts allow us to record details of our selection of items needed for a particular room. Other forms provide contact info for suppliers or cover in writing the scope, stages, and payment schedule that Nathan had reviewed with us, in addition to a copy of the contract and a packet containing copies of contractors license, contractors license detail, and certificate of liability insurance.
At our first meeting when Nathan came to bid for the job, he had covered other details, including time expectations for the return of calls or emails to him , and job site policy to address neighbors concerns.
I will write another review as the job progresses, and after it is completed. At this point, I have every reason to be confident that they will be a good reports.

I haven't written a review in quite some time but I am so impressed with Wise Builders so far, I had to post this review. I will update this post as the estimated 3-month process progresses.

Built in the late 70's, our home was in dire need of a full face lift. I went to Yelp to read reviews on various construction companies and reached out to Wise Builders and Good Fellas. Both companies came out for an initial consultation. Good Fellas gave a great sales pitch but never called me back to follow up. Perhaps it was because I didn't live in Los Gatos or the budget we gave them didn't think it was worth the effort. But, I digress.

From the very beginning, I have been impressed with Adam, our project manager. We know virtually NOTHING about construction/remodeling and we rely heavily on Adam's expertise. He answers my (perhaps very mundane questions) without judgment.

Today was the first day of demolition and when I visited the house around lunch time, I was amazed at how quickly the Wise employees were working to gut the inside of my house.

I will post an update as this project moves along but I am seriously impressed with Adam's professionalism, honesty and reliability.

I can't sing enough praises about this company so far.

We just finished a kitchen and bath remodel. We had to move out because we busted out a couple walls. We have nothing but love for this company. Nathan, our project manager was amazing. He was reliable, honest, on time and a really great listener. We never had any issues other than a challenging inspector and even that didn't feel like an "issue" because Nathan and the crew handled it so well. We rented an apartment right down the street so i literally stopped by almost everyday unannounced. The crew was always attentive, friendly and ready to answer any questions i had (they even worked on thanksgiving day and Christmas eve!). Everyone says remodeling is "so stressful and a headache" but this experience was so amazing. They finished on time and the quality of the work is excellent. We would HIGHLY recommend using this company.

Our house was in desperate need of some TLC, and Wise Builders helped us transform our home from a time capsule from the early 70's into a spot that anyone would be happy to call home.

After meeting with 6 different general contractors, Nathan was the obvious choice for my husband and I. From the moment he came into the house he was very professional. He listened to what we were looking to do to the house, and gave us feedback and bounced around ideas, and it was very apparent that he was excited about the project, which went a long way for us.

From the time Nathan left the house after our first meeting, through to the completion of the remodel, he was always available via phone/text. There were consistent updates from both him, and the foreman who was on site every day. It was nice to be able to see the same guys at the house rather than random people coming in and out that you didn't know.

Another positive with them is that it's obvious they work hard every day. It wasn't like some of the horror stories you hear where contractors get the job half done and disappear. They followed through, and basically gave us a new house in 2 and a half months.

We also chose to stay in the house while they were doing the remodel, and they made it as comfortable and clean as possible, which was appreciated. Now we have the house we have been wanting for a long time, and we're looking forward to enjoying it!

Our house needed a complete renovation. It was down to the framing in 90% of the house. We were on a tight budget. Nathan and crew made an assessment and a bid. They provided a full estimate of the costs. They finished the project on budget and two weeks early. They offered helpful design insights that brought the project to life. The finished project exceeded our expectations. Communications were always timely. Nathan responded to every question whether phone, text or email. I really feel we made a great choice in going with Wise Builders. Two bathrooms, one kitchen, three bedrooms, living and dining room; the place never looked better. Nathan can add pictures to show just how nice our "new" home looks. We have never needed a contractor before and are glad we chose Wise.

You hear horror stories about contractors, and projects that run over time and over budget. Wise Builders completed our project on budget, and in less time than planned. Their crews were professional, very high quality, thorough, and accommodating of those last minute "tweaks" to the original plan. The result is better than we hoped for. The project manager (Nathan and Fernando), and all who worked with him kept us informed at every step. Nothing was taken for granted. When the project was complete, the house was professionally cleaned - spotless. We are very happy with the result.

I highly recommend Wise Builders and Tom Levi our project manager who reworked our 25 year old master bath. Tom was great discussing what we wanted done and understanding our limits without pressure. He clearly communicated on what I need to do and was also very available for my questions and concerns. Tom's team was awesome, very hard working and mindful. Our project Manager was Nathan. He helped us through every step of the way. From design to Construction. He updated us with current progress at the home and scheduled visits with us so that was we can see the progress happening and make any design decisions that were needed. His team was very nice and always tried to keep clean. Overall the process took a little bit longer then expected (mountain view) it took us a while to get plans approved because the city had a long plan review time then we all expected. Once plans were approved Nathan assembled his crew and got right to work. Sometimes there were up to 9-10 people working at a time to make up for lost time in city planning review. The finish came out incredible. My home looks brand new. Even when there were some items that weren't working properly after we spent a few weeks at the home trying out everything, Nathan picked up the phone right away and was able to send out a crew immediately to take care of any issues.

I would recommend this company to anyone who wants to do an extensive remodel to their home and needs the guidance and direction we needed. Please look at the before and after a of my project that I have attached here. 5 stars to Wise Builders and Nathan the project manager.

As a first timer in home remodeling, I was nervous about finding the right contractor as I'd heard many horror stories about long delays and bad experiences. I am so glad I chose Wise Builders (found them on Yelp after reading stellar reviews) to do my first project - they were not the cheapest but also not the most expensive. The range of estimates I received for my kitchen remodel and floor refinish ranged wildly but Wise Builders quote/estimate provided was the quickest and most detailed.

I definitely got what I paid for - Adam, the Project Manager, is very attentive and during the 1.5 month project I spoke/texted with him nearly every single day. Even on his day off (Saturday), he would still text me to discuss decisions and ask questions. The crews that were in the house were very professional and left items in a clean and orderly manner. Adam went above and beyond for touchups and even repainted the trim around a main doorway into the kitchen because it suffered some dings during the project. He offered great advice and referrals for places to buy raw material.

I would recommend Wise Builders to everyone I know who is interested in having a remodel done professionally, beautifully, on time, and reasonably priced.

I live next door to a project that they are currently working on. I called because (in their effort to complete their project so the new owners could move in) they exceeded the working hours (still using an electric saw at 7:10pm on a work night and all day on a Sunday.
I called first on the Sunday issue and received an immediate response, apology and correction to the issue. I then called again on the week night issue. Once again, same corrective action was implemented and the owner also offered to meet with me to see if there were any other issues.
I'm very impressed at their customer service and would even call them in the future should I need any upgrades to the house. Bravo for excellent customer service!

The highest compliment? We'd hire them again. Our project manager, Adam, was definitely an over-communicator, but that's a good thing :-) Everything was in writing, and all work was guaranteed. Any issues were addressed immediately, and he and the crew had their work cut out for them since I have to have my nose in EVERYTHING. Beautiful new quartzite countertops ( a LOT of countertop - 3 slabs), tile backsplash, gas cooktop, downdraft, sink, and faucet, demo-ed, fabricated, and installed in 2 weeks. And my house was left spotless.

Probably not the cheapest estimate you will get, but if you want things done professionally, on time, and to the highest standards (mine), you will definitely get what you paid for with Wise Builders. My kitchen looks so good I go in there just to stare at it.

I recently moved to San Jose and wanted to remodel my place before I actually moved in my furniture. I found Wise Builders on yelp and after meeting them they were very trustworthy. Upon referral from our longtime, trustworthy realtor, we hired Wise Builders to remodel our recently purchased townhouse's kitchen and master bathroom. Tom Levy, the project manager and his crew did fantastic job completing the project on time and to our satisfaction. They were all prompt, hardworking, and very professional. All little, big questions and issues as they came up were promptly answered and taken care of.

Tom and his team at Wise Builders were meticulous in their work on our master bathroom. My wife and I are very happy with having our plans executed so well. Like any remodeling projects, there are always some surprises along the way. Tom was able to figure out ideal solutions, present to us, and solve those problems at ease. They remodeled my kitchen, bathroom and re-faced my existing fireplace.

These guys did an awesome job! The workers were always on time and made sure to clean up after each day. The installation of the cabinets, countertops, tile, and flooring was all done very well. There were touch ups but were addressed almost immediately. I wish that in the shopping process we would have had more time to select and see different options. But regardless I am very happy with what we chose! The project manager we had was very knowledgeable and helpful through out the process. You get what you pay for with this company (in a good way)! After meeting and talking to 6 contractors to remodel our 40 year old hallway bathroom, we unanimously decided to go with Wise Builders. Nathan, our project manager, came well-prepared, very professional, organized and knowledgeable.

Last year, our family went through a full cycle of planning to renovate the house with an architect. Due to city strict requirements, we decided not to move forward with the initial plan and do plan B instead - remodel just the essentials. By January 2017, we were pessimistic that we would find the right contractor. We spoke to 10 contractors and only 6 were invited to meet and see the bathroom. Out of the 6, only Wise Builders was able to connect with us in a personal yet professional level. What struck my family the most was how Nathan was able to communicate, professionally, the changes that he viewed should be changed in the bathroom without sounding brash. Mind you, a family member built half of the house so a critique from a third-party is not taken lightly.

Nathan arrived for our appointment on time and gave us an overview of the meeting before seeing the bathroom. He was knowledgeable, thorough and gave realistic and detailed response to our list of questions that evening. He was well-prepared and wrote down realistic rough quotes which was very helpful when it came to budgeting for the project.

They finished our hallway bath in 4 weeks (half a week early). Passed all inspections on first visits and stayed within the construction budget. Throughout the project, we were informed and updated on a weekly basis and Nathan was a big help (e.g. helped narrowed down design options, provided design input, etc) in completing the shopping list. The crew was respectful and kept the construction area very clean which we appreciated a lot given we have 2 small kids at home. One of the things we found beneficial throughout this process was that all communications/concerns (if any) were dealt through one point of contact - Nathan, project manager. And the fact that he was very responsive and timely were also a big plus for us.

The Wise Builders team remodeled my kitchen. I had high expectations and they fully exceeded them. I work from home and was in one half of the house while they worked in the other half. They were extremely respectful and made a consistent effort to keep dust and debris from entering my work space. That's in addition to them doing great work, on budget, and on schedule.

My favorite things about Wise Builders:
1. Their work was excellent. They have great attention to detail.
2. Full-time project managers were on top of every tile supplier, subcontractor, possible conflict, etc. so that I didn't have to worry about anything delaying the project. They picked everything up and delivered it to the house for me.
3. They have discounts with various suppliers that they passed on to me, saving me thousands of dollars.
4. They didn't exceed their initial estimate.
5. They completed the project on schedule.

What more could you want?

After numerous estimates I decided to hire wise builders to perform work on my kitchen and master bathroom. I have been doing a lot of re-search about a lot of companies and wise builders are the only company that the reviews really show truth in the first meeting with the project manager. These guys are nice, Courteous and professional. From start date to finish date the work was performed on time and by professionals only as initially promised.

I can not tell you how happy I am with my experience with wise builders! I will admit, hearing all the stories from my friends and family about construction nightmares really made me nervous but the project managers, supervisors and contractors made everything understandable and set expectations through out the entire project (other contractors take notes). Nathan came by to give me an estimate on my 2 bathrooms and kitchen. He was much more knowledgeable then all the other contractors I met with. He geared me up for all the expenses that needed to be covered for a project like mine and gave me real budgets that way I'm not in shock when I start shopping for the materials that I like. For example he explained all the construction costs involved on his end, and the finished materials which they do not supply that I would have to purchase which made me feel good since I knew what I was paying for and that I can pick and select what I want exactly! He was able to tell me what projects lead up/influence more work and was honest from the start. That's what really led me to selecting Nathan and wise builders to do my project. Demolition was started about 3 weeks after we signed a contract as scheduled and when shopping was done project was completed with inspections and final walk through with me after 7.5 weeks. (Like my previous contractor) overall Nathan and his crew were able to manage my project professionally and always brought up items to my attention that influence the finish. My expectations are far more then met with this company and with the project Managers they have. We hired Wise Builders to re-do a garage which looked more like a shed. They transformed it into two nice rooms fit for a king.
They were wonderful throughout the entire process. The project manager, Adam, proposed some great ideas, took us around and helped with every single little detail, from permits and inspections to door handles and paint colors.
They work with dedicated crews of painters, insulators, electricians, plumbers so everything is done to the highest standard and in the shortest amount of time.
They are not the cheapest company but you definitely get what you pay for.
The very few things we were not 100% happy with they took care of even if they were not necessarily contractually obligated and without trying to squeeze extra money out of us.

I have just recently purchased a home (fixer) and called out different construction and remodeling companies to come out and give me an estimate for the work I wanted to get done. A lot of the companies that came out were not even general contractors!!!!

This is definitely one of the easiest experiences I've had with a contractor in my life. I recently moved from Toronto to Cupertino and was in need of a company I can trust to take on my full home and garage renovation. This company Wise builders know what true customer service is. There was not a day I could not reach anyone, or that someone was late on site. Everyone was working together like a machine. From Eric the owner, to Adam the project manager and his Forman and crew I can honestly say I am a happy customer. They live up to all of their promises, and delivered on the approximate time frame they gave us for this project. I've referred them to all of my coworkers already, they deserve an A+.

I had gotten 5 different estimates from design and build companies but decided to go with wise builders for our full home remodel. They have been so thorough from the get go and actually educated me before we started the project. The design phase was a breeze they paired us up with a solid architect. The structural engineer was incredibly efficient. It took 8 weeks from start of demolition to our final inspection and walk through. They have promised us an approximate timeline and stood by it but I would say the construction management was the real reason. Tom and Adam have been awesome. Tom is so knowledgeable I would give him an award for making my life easy, and Adam has given us the best customer service that we've had in a long time, a great duo to take on this project.

We choose Wise Builders after having calls ignored and just not getting a good "vibe" from other potential contractors. From my first call Eric was professional, returned my calls and confirmed my appointment. I knew I was on the right track.

Enter Tom, he is friendly, knowledgeable and realistic about the outcome of our kitchen and 1/2 Bath renovation.

Tom helped us find exactly what I wanted for cabinets when I was feeling like I wasn't going to get what I really wanted. He guided us through our material choices and saved us money where he could. Big plus!

I called wise builders about a roof I needed to replace and a guest bathroom remodel. I was set up with Nathan their senior project manager. He had some great ideas for my bathroom. He paired me up with local suppliers and gave me a great discount. I was given weekly updates about my project and what the next steps are.

Roof was completed in about 5-6 days

My guest bathroom took about 3.5 weeks with all the inspections and touch ups.

I recently moved here from New Mexico with my fianc and as soon as we closed escrow we knew there was much work to do in our new home. New hardwood floors, a new kitchen, and 3 bathrooms were definitely a must. Finding the right contractor was incredibly frustrating but luckily we found Wise builders after our 4th contractor bid. Adam, one of their project managers was sent to our house to give us the breakdown on what it would take, how long it would take, and how much we were getting ourselves into. The amount of knowledge this young man has is phenomenal. He made everything so clear that he left my fianc and I with no questions at the end. That's how we knew he was the right man for the job. I had to take time out of my day to write this because the customer service I have received throughout this project was honestly shocking. Adam took me to the flooring stores, the tile stores, helped me mix and match to make my house look as great as it looks today! It also didn't stop there, Eric, the owner and Nathan Adams, manager were always in the loop making it feel like I had a huge team behind my project leaving us with minimal stress. It's so frustrating not being able to live in your brand new house but Adam and Wise builders held our hand even on the most stressful days.

I am going to start with how great this companies service is!

I recently moved from Colorado with my fianc and was in need of a contractor asap. First and for most Eric the owner has been nothing but lovely from the beginning of my project to the finish. When I called to remodel my kitchen and 2 bathrooms I was skeptical because I have had such bad experiences with other contractors before. Eric sent Tom one of their project managers to come take a look at my house and give me an estimate on how much it would cost and what I would take. Tom, just like Eric, was so knowledgeable from the second he stepped foot into my house until the end of the project, making sure me and my husband were updated about even the smallest detail on the tile to the smallest detail on the cabinets. Tom was so responsive and tended to everything I asked for. He also went with me to the tile store to help direct me and my husband the right direction on what tile goes good where and just has a good eye for design. Nathan was professional,punctual, and very honest with me the entire time. He gave us constant updates on our project from when inspections are to our next walk throughs at our home. The crew was always on time and got a lot of work done each working day.

Decided to remodel my hall/guest bathroom. installed new tile,tub,paint,vanity and new fixtures. Project took 3 weeks. We met with wise builders project manager Adam. Big relief since we had so many salespeople walk through our door without a clue about construction. Adam was nice and professional and took the time to listen and brainstorm with me. He gave me some awesome ideas that really made my project that much better thanks to his experience. I honestly feel if it wasn't for Adam and the wise builders team my bathroom would not come out the way it did. So thank you Adam and to the wonderful team at wise builders.

We had a couple of phases to our project;

construction design & planning:

our project manager paired us with their designer/structural engineer to go over numerous options and design ideas. After some back and fourth they were able to give us the design and floor plan we always wanted! Permits took about 6-7 weeks from start to finish everybody in this phase was very responsive and great to work with.

Construction:

Demolition started on time. Workers showed up every morning Monday-Friday at 8:30-9:00 am and started working immediately. EVERYBODY from the demolition team to the finishers were very professional and really knew what they were doing.

I was very nervous at first because of all the bad contractor stories I have heard from various experiences. Wise builders really delivers, that being said if you are a homeowner in search of good communication and Guidance for your home remodeling project these are the guys to hire! Thank you Nathan and the entire wise builders team you gave me the house I always wanted.

Before we started our kitchen remodel, we looked on line for residential general contractors. Narrowing down the many firms, reading the reviews and looking at their finished portfolios was daunting to say the least. The one that seemed to click with our design aesthetic was Wise Builders. After we made the initial appointment, we met with Tom, our project manager. Even though we haven't started the demo yet, Tom has been wonderful to work with. He's helpful, knowledgeable, straightforward and delightful to work with. We call him often and he's always available to answer our questions or give advice. So far it's been an awesome experience, thanks Tom!

I had the pleasure of meeting with Tom of Wise Builders last week regarding repair of my water-damaged bathroom and flooring. Tom is an excellent listener, made great suggestions and shared with me amazing before and after photos, most of which were designed by him. He also discussed the process in detail and made sure that all of my questions were answered.

Unfortunately, finances prevent me from having my home project with Wise Builders. But if money was not an issue, I would have hired them on the spot. I appreciated Tom's knowledge, artistry and professionalism. He tried the best he could to get me their best price possible by contacting the owner directly.

Wise Builders has also received national recognition for their excellent workmanship and work ethic. I would recommend Wise Builders for any home project that you have in mind. I just wish I had deep pockets and am in envy of those who can have their homes "fixed" by Wise Builders.

After receiving some other estimates and speaking with other contractors, we decided on Wise Builders for our complete kitchen remodel and had Nathan as our project manager, they were very efficient, cleaned up after themselves and overall nice and polite construction workers. They did a quality job and were pretty much on target with dates other then delays by the city for inspections. We did have a couple of disagreements on some of the work but working with both Nathan and Eric, they came through in order to provide customer satisfaction in the end. we were very happy in the end and glad we picked them, we would use them again on other projects and I would gladly recommend them to others.

I finally decided to remodel my kitchen and change the roof. I gave them 5 weeks. Nathan and his crew got it done in just over 4. Plus he was at the site every morning like clock work.

We decided to go with Adam from wise builders because he was most professional. We remodeled our master bathroom and painted the exterior and interior of our home.

All the other companies came by as too pushy and didn't really have the knowledge that Adam brought to the table. He was able to give us more ideas and even cost effective solutions to our project. Adam supervised the job nicely. The workers were always on time and very clean which was surprising. I have referred them to my relatives that just moved out to the Bay Area to remodel their home.

Adam gave us a detailed shopping list that we completed per his recommendations list which was very helpful and didn't make the shopping tasks hard at all. (A lot of decisions but we consulted with Adam and he was happy to help out and give his opinion :-)

Overall we are very pleased with the work that wise builders performed and will definitely be hiring them for future projects.

I highly recommend the wise builders team for a bathroom remodel. We hired wise builders for our master bath remodel. Our project manager was Nathan. The whole project took roughly 4 weeks from start to finish and ended up costing exactly what Nathan quoted us from the beginning. They did a fantastic job, were on-time, and very respectful of our home. They cleaned up after themselves ever day and Nathan kept us updated on the progress, any issues and next steps. He also provided us with a shopping list and provided some guidance/recommendations on products. They entire team was a pleasure to work with and we have hired them to remodel our 2nd bathroom.

Eric Weizman of Wise Builders and his team just did a terrific job installing new Laminate Wood flooring at my house in Los Angeles. I had worked with Eric several years ago on a bathroom remodel and he was the first person I thought of when I decided to get my floors done.
I needed to get about 1000 sq ft of new flooring that would go through several rooms replacing a few different kinds of flooring. Eric helped me choose the perfect Laminate that fit into my needs and budget. He was able to get his team on the job almost immediately , from my first phone call to him to the finished job took less then a week ! His crew handled moving furniture and ripping out the old flooring . They did a great job installing the new floor with great care to the smallest details . I love my new floors !!!!

What can I say yes, all construction projects are tough and require a lot of care and time. Nathan was a perfect project manager for me and my project. Everything was handled professionally and on time communication was also very clear and straight forward. We ran into some small unforeseen issues when we started the project but Nathan was always first to show me and to help me understand what the problems were. We have been in the market for a while trying to find a contractor to remodel our kitchen, 3 bathrooms, interior paint and flooring.

I met with several contractors but non of them except for Nathan from Wise Builders was able to listen to what we wanted and was patient with us. This was our first time doing a renovation so we wanted to make sure we are making the right decision and correct choices.

Our project is now finished took them about 2 months to complete which was actually almost a week early to the approximate finish date! first of all well earned, this company was great and made this whole process a lot easier then what I imagined. Wise builders came out to give me a bid on a deck extension i have been eager to do for years and told them that I am also interested in doing my drive way (cement) and update my kitchen. Crew was nice, project was also managed nicely and progress was always happening. I was updated frequently on progress.

I was so happy with my new deck that I had them also install a new driveway and update the kitchen. All the inspections were passed on time. Didn't have any unexpected delays and/or costs (except for my countertop supplier - I got some specific stone from Italy) which had a 3 week delay :(.

Wise builders was actually very nice about the situation and were flexible.

I went with wise builders after doing my homework and getting several estimates. I have been warned before about how to choose the right contractor. I had several bids also come in ranging from ridiculously low cost to unreasonably high.

Wise builders came in right in the middle and I had the best feeling with the project manager I also felt the the price was fair. He also took the time to listen to what me and my wife were trying to achieve from start to finish. He also helped us design the kitchen and we are thrilled. Now my kitchen and roof is complete with approved permit. (Took them 4.5 weeks)

They actually finished about a week earlier then expected so me and my wife were super happy and thrilled that we can start showing off our new kitchen! I would strongly recommend choosing wise builders as your contractor. They are fair and offer great work and great services.

So I scheduled them to come out and give me an estimate on a room addition, kitchen remodel and new presidential shingle roof.

I met with Nathan the PM. We communicated very well and he understood what we wanted. He also was very patient and understanding with me and my husband (we like to ask a lot of questions). We knew at our first meeting that he was the contractor for us, he just understood us and gave us the feeling that we needed. He was there to guide us each and every step to a successful project.

We signed the paper work and scheduled the project approximately 3 weeks out to give us enough time to shop for the finish materials.

We did our first contract (roof+kitchen remodel).

The crew that was assigned to us was great. Progress was always happening and we would get updates about our project from the project manager. I got recommendations from nathan about where to go for cabinets, tile, and other items that were needed for the shopping list. He was even able to get us discounts at some stores!

Our plans for the addition are now under city review and waiting to get started on that project as well. I will update this review as things move along with the addition. Very pleased so far and excited to get this bigger project going. Very confident in wise builders to deliver!

Nice, professional and great experience. I remodeled my kitchen (which was in pretty bad shape), 3 bathroom remodels including my master bathroom and complete hardwood flooring. Project was started and completed on time. Touch ups were dealt with immediately and promptly. I'm very happy with the outcome and experience.

I'm going to make this short and to the point.....I've met wise builders maybe 20-25 years ago. I had some done in my house and didn't like how my bathroom came out. So here come wise builders. They brought so much imagination and creativity to their project that I had them re do all my bathrooms and kitchen. I have had work done in the past and I can sadly say I know what it feels like when you choose the wrong company.

I went through a very bad experience a couple of years ago with a contractor that pretty much baited me with a cheap price so I decided to go with him. I knew something was fishy but decided not to believe all the other G.C's that told me that's way to cheap to do the project I wanted (kitchen remodel and wall removal). So I paid the consequences.

I promised myself I would choose more wisely and gladly I did! Nathan at Wise Builders was my assigned project manager from start to finish. I remodeled my hall-bathroom and master bathroom. Nathan's understanding in construction and the fact that he is super detailed and will be patient with every one of my questions is what earned my trust and that I can count on him to pull through.
